OBAN WINS THE NATIONWIDE PREFERRED HEALTH SYSTEM WICHITA OPEN

CHICAGO, IL, JUNE 22, 2011: It was a great week for Oban Composites LLC with the winner of the Nationwide Preferred Health System Wichita Open using the Kiyoshi 75 gram X flex in his Taylormade R11. The leading money winner on the Nationwide Tour switched to the Kiyoshi in 2011 and has already secured his 2012 PGA Tour card. The Kiyoshi also made its mark at the US Open with a Top 3 finish and was used by one of the leading players in driving distance on the PGA Tour. To round Oban's Tour success, the Oban Kiyoshi and Revenge were used by the player who finished tied for 5th on the European Tour at the Sait-Omer Open played in France.

"The Oban Kiyoshi continues to make a statement on the PGA, Nationwide and European Tours with strong performances on all 3 Tours this week, including a win." said Victor Afable, Oban's President. "The Oban Kiyoshi, designed with high performance modulus materials, proved its superiority and is trusted by more and more Tour players. The Kiyoshi is a high launch and low spin shaft resulting in added distance with tighter dispersion."

Crafted utilizing high modulus materials and a proprietary design, the Oban Kiyoshi and Oban Devotion shafts continue to excel in driving accuracy and distance.
